Default Elite Missions

Hey,
I wanted to know what are Elite Missions and what they give you. Where can i enter one, and where are they found. I would appreciate any comments and/or answers. (How long are they each)???

Thanks

There are currently 3 "Elite" missions within Guild Wars. The Deep, Urzog's, and Domain of Anguish. To get into the first 2 at this moment you must be a part of the Alliance that holds either Cavalon or House Zu Heltzer. For the Domain Of Anguish you need to finish Night Fall. Some players do not concider Sorrows Furnace an "Elite" mission. But it is a lot more fun and you don't have to meet any requirements to get into it (just gotta have Deldrimor War Camp as the entrance is just outside from there).

As far as rewards for Elite missions.

In all of the listed ones you get Green drops randomly from bosses, note not every boss will drop a green and there is only a 1/8 or 1/12 chance it will drop for you.

The Deep and Urgoz both offer other unique items that can only be found there, Zodiac weapons.

The Domain of Anguish offers your only current means of aquiring the Hero Razah and there are also unique drops and some green items there as well.

Sorrows Furnace does have lots of bosses and lots of greens, but is not conciderd and Elite area as you can use res shrines inside it, this is not possible on any of the other Elite missions.

I have to agree that Sorrows Furnace is the best of the three for fun factor.

Also, you can get a "ferry" to the deep and urgoz from somone in the alliance that holds it. There is also Tomb of Primevil Kings, no rez shrines so it is kind of an elite mission and some green drops at the end.

You have to beat Nightfall and when you do go to Chantry of Secrets and there'll be a Whispers guy near a door, talk to him, walk up the hill he transports you to and talk to Kormir.
She'll let you go into DoA.
Once you're in, to go back (in later times), go into the torment realm and it'll be listed on your "M" map.

And for The Deep, kanaxai drops 3 greens per kill. Mallet(Hammer) Sword and Axe ... so a 3/12 chance. Some cases I heard all 3 dropped for 1 person before.

the thing is first two elite mission almost always empty. you not likely get a pug anymore. the last elite mission is pretty darn hard for average pug

Urzog's and the deep? all you need to do is look for the taxi to the mission, by taxi i mean, from time to time a member of the allies will let you tag along for a fee or sometime free. Look for them in HZH for kurzick side and for luxon I think its Cavalon.
